Chapter 2

Creating the Culture

Since the chapter one - NYCulture we've been extremely blessed to have had several more successful drops attached to a wide variety of charities. Before we give you a brief overview I would like to just say thank you from the bottom of my heart, this is setting the foundation and "creating the culture" for everything I've always wanted to do in life - share my art with you, showcase the talents of other amazing creators, put love out there and give back to the community. - TYN

 

In our first 2 years we've had 15 drops and donated several thousand dollars

F*CK Cancer - Our first Fuck Cancer Hoodie donated proceeds to Komen - Fighting Breast Cancer

 

FUCK IT / Purple Hearts - A portion of proceeds went to the Barstool Fund to help small businesses suffering from the effects of the COVID-19 shutdown

Chapter One

NY CULTURE

New York City, America's first capital, all hustle, no sleep. New York is a city of people from all backgrounds shapes and sizes. Ranked the #1 most diverse city in the world. With such a vast array of cultures and heritage it was a no brainer to make it our first stop to explore. Now being that there are so many different people in one location what is it that brings them together? What is the Culture of the city as a whole? The answer lies within the opportunity is presents to all those who come to the city. The absolute hustle and commitment in pursuit of ones dreams no matter the cost. The culture of the city can simply be put as NY or Die.

For our first collection we have chosen to explore the great city of New York, our documentary will display the ever changing diverse groups who make the city so great. It will also show that despite the differences we all have much more in common than one may think.. 

For each sponsored New York Culture Collection One item purchased we will be giving a meal, haircut or some form of aid away to the homeless. Any item sold after the charity event has closed will have 20% of proceeds donated to homeless veterans in the NY area.

Where the movement began

I've wanted to share my art and message of doing good for others for as long as I could remember.. After the passing of Mac Miller in 2018 I decided I wanted to make a difference through the only way I knew how.  I decided I would create a piece in memorium of Mac and sell them to raise money for TMMCF a charity that provides funding for kids who do not have enough to follow their creative endeavors. Seeing how much of an impact this could have birthed to idea to create an entire brand that could be unique from most others. One that will someday help everyone.

VISIONS

I have always been fascinated by Culture and symbolism. It influences every piece of art that I as well as many other artists do. Culture is everything and it is not always necessarily ethnic Culture either, all groups have or have the ability to create their own culture. That is exactly what I am trying to do here, Create the Culture, a culture of doing and loving. I also want to take the time to explore all the other cultures around the world to share their beauty, symbolism and influence. To share their history so that we may learn that we are all amazingly different yet all one in the same.

I will take this movement and this brand as far as you'll allow it to go.
